Answer plainly. Four stances, no neutral. A strong stance moves you further and pays more.
The two axes move separately. Most questions weigh on one of them only, and after every answer the game says which one moved and which one held still.
Stay on message and your momentum multiplier climbs. Contradict yourself and the streak dies, but you bank a maverick bonus instead. Nuance costs you nothing.
Four factions keep score. Cross 68% approval and you have their endorsement. You will not hold all four.
Left to right is economics. Top to bottom is how much authority you would hand the state, liberty highest.
